GUESS was born in 1981 from the vision of the Marciano brothers, who left the south of France in search of the American dream. Inspired by their European heritage, they redefined denim by blending sophistication, innovation, and a unique sense of style. One of their most iconic designs was the Marilyn jean—form-fitting with three zippers—that sparked a fashion revolution.

The brand’s name came about unexpectedly. During their daily commute to the office, the brothers kept seeing a billboard that read, “Guess what’s in our new Big Mac?” That simple phrase caught their attention, and from it was born the name that today is synonymous with creativity and style.

Since its beginnings, GUESS has been more than just a brand, it’s a symbol of confidence and glamour. With iconic campaigns, it has collaborated with celebrities like Claudia Schiffer, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, and Kate Upton, among others, establishing itself as a benchmark in the fashion industry.
